Mairav Kaufman

Mairav Kaufman is a passionate Jewish educator, who is committed to being a lifelong learner and helping her students be the same in ways that are accessible to each of them. Mairav studied Judaic studies for a year abroad at Sha’alavim in Jerusalem and went on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Judaic Studies from Stern College. Mairav has taught in several school settings including elementary school, Hebrew school and preschool. For the past three years, Mairav was a Head teacher in SAR Academy’s preschool in Riverdale. She enjoyed using the woodsy area near the Hudson River as a second classroom and singing services with her class while appreciating its natural environment. Mairav is a first year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Long Island University.
