About Us
Morah Jessie Tutors is a Manhattan, Westchester, and Connecticut based company that provides an alternative to the traditional part-time Hebrew school model by offering in-home one-on-one and small group Jewish education. Since its inception in 2010, Morah Jessie’s founder and owner, Jessica Schreiber has primarily offered an all-in-one class covering a wide array of Jewish topics, including Hebrew language and prayers, Jewish history and holidays, and Israeli culture. In the past twelve years, Morah Jessie has expanded to Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation, and Jewish event-planning services.
In the past twelve years, those students who graduated from Hebrew in the Home, later began the Bar and Bat Mitzvah program. Morah Jessie Tutors has expanded to over 80 families in one-on-one and small group sessions. We now lead a team of tutors that each brings a unique perspective and set of skills to Jewish education.
