Hebrew in the Home
Morah Jessie’s original and still most popular class, Hebrew in the Home is offered in one-on-one sessions and group classes of 2 to 6 students. Hebrew in the Home offers a general survey of many different Judaism-related topics, from Abraham to Modern Israel, and everything in between.
Bar & Bat Mitzvah Preparation
The B’nai Mitzvah program teaches students to grow into caring, responsible, and confident young adults through the influence and guidance of Jewish values. The student will explore the basic tenets of Judaism, with an emphasis on preparing for a culminating service. The student, together with his or her parents and the teacher, will decide what components of the service are most meaningful. The student will work with their assigned tutor to choose an individualized Bar/Bat Mitzvah Program.
MJ Teen
Socialize, travel, participate, participate in fun and meaningful classes, while creating our own Jewish community. Join with other teens to meet influential change makers, participate in Tzedakah projects, learn to cook Jewish holiday cuisine. It is a great opportunity for your teen to meet other Jewish teens in the NYC area!
JWFC
Jewish Women for Change gives teens an opportunity to take a pause from the busyness of New York City life for an impactful, educational, and social Jewish experience. It is a sisterhood of leaders who are dedicated to the concept of “Tikkun Olam” or repairing the world. This group is for strong women who are ready to have fun while making an impact on the world at large!

Morah Jessie Tutors is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Jewish Center of the Hamptons! Our goal is to continue to build and expand our MJT community by bringing an array of holiday events to New York City for our students to enjoy throughout the year.
