Sammy Fishman

Tutor

Sammy grew up in NY, attending Jewish day school at ASHAR and then The Frisch School for high school. After spending a gap year at Yeshivat Hakotel, he returned to Ramah Day Camp in Nyack, where he co-ran a nightly source-based learning program for the residential staff. Before making Aliyah the following year, he taught Jewish studies and math at The Frisch School and also tutored privately. Sammy has spent a total of six summers at Ramah Nyack, serving as a counselor and then as a division head, where he passionately taught Torah, Torah reading, and Hebrew, along with Jewish themes and values, to both campers and counselors. Sammy currently lives in Israel, pursuing a degree in physical therapy. He enjoys hiking, reading, and playing basketball.
