Cara Levine

Cara Levine is an experienced Jewish educator who is passionate about creating engaging, meaningful, and welcoming Jewish learning experiences for children and families.
Cara has worked with children of a variety of ages in both classroom and camp settings. She spent summers at Camp Ramah Nyack, where she worked as a CIT and shadowed educators working with second- and fourth-grade campers. She has also served as a USY advisor and Youth Director in West Hartford, creating programming and building relationships with children, teens, and families.
Cara has taught and tutored at Temple Beth Shalom in Hastings, working with students in kindergarten through second grade, and is trained as a Hebrew Through Movement specialist, using interactive and movement-based approaches to make Hebrew learning fun and accessible.
In addition to teaching, Cara works in Jewish communal life, focusing on community engagement, family programming, and creating meaningful Jewish experiences. She especially enjoys finding ways to meet students where they are and helping them build a positive, personal connection to Hebrew and Jewish life.
Cara is excited to bring her warmth, creativity, and love of Jewish learning to her students!
