Tali Kern

Tutor

Tali grew up in Teaneck, NJ, and currently resides in Riverdale, NY. She attended The Frisch School for high school, and spent a gap year in Israel at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalyim (MMY). She attended Yeshiva University for college, where she got a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. She then attended Hunter College for a Master's Degree in Teaching English as A Second Language (TESOL). For the last 8 years, she has been teaching fifth grade at P.S. 66, a public school in the Bronx. She is very passionate about formal and informal education. During the summers, she has worked at many summer camps such as the 92 Y Camp Yomi, JCC on the Palisades, and Moshava Ba'ir. She has also worked at Beth El Religious School in New Rochelle, NY. She believes in making learning fun, engaging, and different for every learner. In her free time, she loves to play tennis and basketball, read novels, and practice mindfulness meditation. She is excited to get to know you and learn together!
