Michal is from Bergen County, NJ and made aliyah to Israel three years ago from the Upper West Side. She attended Solomon Schechter of West Orange for high school, and then spent a gap year in Israel on Young Judaea Year Course where she studied, improved her Hebrew, volunteered and lived all around the country. While she attended college at Binghamton University, Michal taught Hebrew & Judaics to kids in NYC through an online program. Michal then received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University and worked in hospitals in Manhattan and Brooklyn. She now works in Tel Aviv for an Israeli medical tech company, specializing in tele-health for neurology and psychiatry. She is passionate about volunteering, and loves to be active from paddle boarding to dance to swimming in Israel's beautiful seas!
