Talia Cohen

 Tutor

Talia Cohen is a recent graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied Acting and Entertainment Business. Talia has always had a passion for performing and at a young age, she realized she could perform every week, in synagogue, by reading Torah or leading Anim Z'mirot. By the time she was in High School, she began volunteering at her synagogue to lead Torah Chug, a weekly Torah Reading learning session for elementary and Bnei Mitzvah age kids. It was there that she taught kids of all background and educations how to read in Hebrew, understand the story of the Torah, and chant in trope. In the past, Talia has spent several summers working at Camp Ramah in Nyack with children ages seven to nine. Currently, Talia is working at the Abraham Joshua Heschel School, assistant teaching first and fifth graders.
