Jake Kay

Tutor 

Jake was born and raised in Teaneck, NJ. Jake attended Solomon Schechter day school and spent most of his childhood either going to Camp Ramah Nyack as a camper or a staff member. 

Jake has always loved working with kids and a highlight of his summers was leading Shabbat morning discussions on various Jewish subjects and topics, sometimes to more than 100 staff members. While at Muhlenberg, Jake double majored in business administration and Jewish studies, staffed several birthright trips, became a JNF campus fellow (ran Israel programming on campus) and staffed a JNF Israel trip. Jake became highly active on the Chabad board. After college, Jake made Aliyah and was drafted to the IDF as a lone soldier, serving in combat.

Following the army, Jake spent two years learning in a Yeshiva in Jerusalem before getting married.In Jake's free time, he loves cooking, playing sports, listening to all types of music, playing the drums, and both learning and teaching.
