Hila Cohen

Hila Cohen is from Riverdale, New York, attended SAR Academy and High School and took a gap year at Midreshet Lindenbaum. She is currently working towards a bachelor’s in Early Childhood education at Yeshiva University's Stern College. Hila has done teaching fieldwork as part of her undergraduate degree, most recently in the Pre-K at the Rodeph Shalom School. Hila has spent six summers on staff at Ramah Nyack working with campers of all ages and needs. Hila most recently has worked in the office at Ramah Nyack, working on behind the scenes logistics and teaching Shiur (Jewish learning) to entering Second Graders. Hila has been an active leader in her synagogues Youth program. She created a Middle School weekly parsha club focusing on different topics and themes from the Torah portion of the week. At Midreshet Lindenbaum Hila published an essay about Tanakh Translations in their Matmidot Scholar's Journal.
